Shop Bike Rides

Because riding with others is more fun!

In fact, most athletes find they ride harder and build confidence faster when training with a small group. We welcome cyclists and triathletes looking to explore roads East & South of LBE Lab.

For 2024, we’re partnered with Rocky Top Multisport Club (RTMC) for a weekly ride. The vibe is generally casual recovery, but some groups might get a little spicy.

Every participant rides at his/her/their own risk. LB Endurance and Rocky Top Multisport Club are not directing your actions, and accept no liability for any participants. The rides are conducted on open roads with automobile traffic and typical road hazards. Plan accordingly, and do not ride if you don’t feel comfortable accepting the risks.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Every Monday, starting 01 April 2024
  • Meet in parking lot adjacent to LB Endurance Lab, 1119 Sevier Ave 37920
  • Ride starts at 6:00 pm (be ready to roll at 5:59 pm)
  • Any road-capable bike welcome (typically road, triathlon/TT or gravel) – if on a TT bike, only use aero bars with space around you, not in a group nor riding two aside
  • Helmets required
  • Tail lights encouraged, plus bright jerseys & socks, and bring your road repair kit
  • FREE
  • You do NOT need to be a customer of LBE Lab or RTMC, but we’d love if you were!
  • PARKING recommended at Suttree Landing Park, and ride to LBE Lab. There are plentiful public restrooms at the Park, and but one toilet at LBE Lab.
  • These are generally NOT no-drop rides. Ride within your ability. Ride with a buddy. Review the route BEFORE arriving and download the route to your GPS-enabled watch, phone and/or bike computer, and follow it!
  • Schedule changes or cancellations (esp. weather-related) will be announced on social media (Instagram and/or Facebook)

There are distances offered (A, B, C), and within each ride, there may be 1-3 groups that form based on pace. A ride leader may or may not be present. The routes generally overlap, so it is possible to shorten your ride once the ride is started.

  • A = distance 24-30 miles, pace 17+ mph, able to pace within a tight group
  • B = distance 16-20 miles, pace 15-18 mph
  • C = distance 9-16 miles, pace 13-16 mph

We follow a rotating schedule of routes, as listed below:
